The social games niche is one of the fastest growing ‘money niches’ online. If you aren’t into Facebook or MySpace, you might be surprised to learn that an estimated 1.6 billion dollars will be spent this year purchasing ‘virtual goods’ by the players of such popular social games as Farmville and Mafia Wars.

The digital downloads niche, which includes the hard-hit newspaper industry, is also a major target for this service. With the average purchase being under $5.00, information downloads have struggled to find a cost effective payment solution for them.
