How To Report A Fraud
The following are steps that UseMyServices Inc. recommends you take in the event you feel you have been a victim of fraud.
1. Contact all or any of the three credit bureaus and ask that a “fraud alert” be placed on your file. Also request a copy of your credit report, which is free to identity theft victims. The following are links to the credit bureaus’ Web sites:

2. For accounts that have been fraudulently opened or used, contact the security department of the creditor.
3. File the appropriate police reports and request a copy of each one.
4. Keep carefully written records of everyone you speak with, and use registered mail when sending important correspondence.
5. 6. Contact RECOL this is a department of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. RECOL provides real-time data pertaining to the current fraud trends. It also provides education, prevention and awareness of economic crime. RECOL will recommend the appropriate law enforcement or regulatory agency and/or private commercial organization for potential investigation
